V5 Ultimate. The next chapter of V5 Traceability.

V5 Ultimate is built by SG Systems Global — the cloud-native successor to V5 Traceability, our on-premises MES/QMS/WMS platform widely deployed across regulated process manufacturing since 2006. Same accountability discipline. New delivery model.

Heritage

From V5 Traceability to V5 Ultimate.

2006 — present

V5 Traceability

Our original platform: a predominantly on-premises MES/QMS/WMS suite, widely deployed across regulated manufacturers worldwide — from Food & Beverage and Nutra to Pharma, Biotech, Cosmetics and Cannabis. Battle-tested on the plant floor for almost two decades.

  • On-premises and customer-managed deployments
  • Production-proven across regulated process industries
  • Continues in active service with existing customers
Today & forward

V5 Ultimate

The cloud-native successor — same control discipline, modern delivery. Built by SG Systems Global for teams that want audit-ready execution without the on-premises footprint, with continuous updates and faster onboarding.

  • Cloud-native, continuously updated
  • Faster onboarding, lower IT overhead
  • Same MES/QMS/WMS depth with modern UX

Existing V5 Traceability deployments remain supported. Migration paths to V5 Ultimate are available — talk to your account contact.

Mission

What we exist to deliver for regulated operations.

Our mission is to help regulated manufacturers execute work correctly, consistently, and with attributable evidence. We focus on controlled workflows that reduce execution risk during the work itself, produce defensible records as a natural byproduct of execution, and support effective review, release and investigation without reconstruction.

In practice, this means aligning MES, QMS and WMS activity to defined procedures and documented controls so that quality requirements are enforced in-flow, exceptions are captured when they occur, and evidence outputs reflect the actual sequence of events.

How V5 Ultimate works

Four pillars of audit-ready manufacturing.

Controlled execution

Sequential, guided work with required inputs and checkpoints. Deviations captured at the moment they happen — not reconstructed after the fact.

  • Guided steps aligned to procedures, with required inputs and checks where configured
  • Deviation / variance captured at the point of occurrence
  • Records structured to support review-by-exception, not manual reconciliation

Data integrity & attributable evidence

Attribution and timing associated with every action. Evidence captured at source and bound to the workflow step it belongs to.

  • ALCOA+ aligned audit trail and e-signature controls
  • Evidence captured at point of execution — no transcription drift
  • Audit-trail structures designed for investigation and review

Evidence outputs & traceability

Trace-back, trace-forward and genealogy structured for speed under pressure — auditors, investigations, and release decisions.

  • Batch / lot documentation outputs designed for review and retention
  • Trace-back / trace-forward reporting to support response timelines
  • Genealogy views for investigation and disposition decisions

Supplier posture for regulated use

Standard due-diligence artifacts and validation-minded delivery practices — aligned with how regulated buyers actually qualify suppliers.

  • Supplier Quality Addendum (SQA) and Master Services Agreement (MSA)
  • Validation approach aligned to GAMP 5 principles
  • Integration controls via the V5 Connect layer (where applicable)

Configuration matters: actual control sets depend on intended use, customer SOPs, configuration choices and validation activities.

Supplier due diligence

Artifacts your quality & procurement teams expect.

Standard artifacts and posture aligned with how regulated buyers qualify suppliers and validate systems for intended use.

Supplier Quality Addendum

Supplier quality alignment, responsibilities and controls (SQA).

Master Services Agreement

Service boundaries, responsibilities and contractual terms (MSA).

Validation approach

Delivery practices aligned to GAMP 5 principles for intended use.

V5 Connect integrations

Controlled integration layer for ERP, LIMS, scales and devices.

SQA / MSA available on request during procurement review. Validation approach is intended-use specific.

Leadership & governance

Named owners for every decision surface.

Procurement, quality and audit teams need to know who is accountable. SG Systems Global publishes a governance framework with named owners for commercial authority, software lifecycle control, regulatory readiness, implementation delivery and support continuity.

Choose a system that works where it matters most.

V5 Ultimate isn't just another compliance tool — it's how top manufacturers take control of production, protect quality, and build a more profitable future.
