Manufacturing intelligence that runs the plant, not a dashboard on top of it.
V5 Ultimate is a manufacturing intelligence (MI) platform that sits on the same database that runs your MES, QMS and eBR — so OEE, SPC, deviations, cost, yield and supplier signals are the operating record, not a stale BI extract. Real-time by construction, AI-augmented, inspector-grade audit trail.
You searched manufacturing intelligence because the dashboard says green while the plant is on fire.
OEE is a Monday-morning PowerPoint, not a live signal
SPC lives in one analyst's spreadsheet — the rules aren't consistent
Cost drifts are found at month-end close, not at the failing batch
Every KPI has three definitions across three tools
'Real-time' means a 24-hour ETL from the historian to the warehouse
AI initiatives stall because the data isn't clean or connected
The MI capabilities regulated plants actually run on.
Real-time OEE by machine, line, shift
Availability, performance, quality — computed from the same events that run the eBR. No warehouse, no lag. Operators, supervisors and the plant manager see the same number.
Live SPC on every CPP and CQA
Control limits, warning limits, Nelson / Western Electric rules — evaluated on ingestion. Trend shifts and drifts route to CPV events and, where warranted, to CAPA.
AI anomaly detection on cost and yield
Standard-vs-actual cost variance, yield loss, cycle-time drift — surfaced against precedent, ranked by exposure, tied to the specific batch and workcenter.
One data model, one KPI definition
OEE, first-pass yield, right-first-time, on-time-in-full, deviation rate — defined once, computed once, referenced everywhere. No 'my number vs your number' meetings.
Historian + kiosk + ERP feeding the same model
OPC-UA / MQTT from equipment, kiosk from operators, signed REST from ERP — all landing in the same schema the analytics query against.
Every metric back to the batch
Click any KPI and land on the batch, work order or lot that moved it. Inspectors and CI teams both get provenance to source.
What changes the day this goes live.
- OEE stops being a monthly report and starts being an operator signal
- Cost and yield anomalies surface the shift they happen, not at month-end
- SPC becomes consistent across sites — same rules, same limits, same math
- AI initiatives stop stalling because the data model is already unified
- One number, one definition, one source — reconciliation meetings disappear
MI that carries GxP and ISO weight, not just a dashboard label.
ISA-95 / ISA-88
Enterprise-control system integration and batch-control models — V5's object model is ISA-95 aligned, so plant, area, work-center and equipment roll up cleanly.
21 CFR Part 11 · EU GMP Annex 11
Every metric traces back to an audit-trailed source record — bound e-signatures, hash-chained events, ALCOA+ data integrity.
ISO 22400 KPIs
OEE, availability, performance, quality rate, throughput, yield — computed against the ISO 22400 definitions your CI and finance teams already reference.

Manufacturing intelligence, answered.
What is a manufacturing intelligence platform?
Manufacturing intelligence (MI) is the layer that turns shop-floor and quality data into real-time operational signals — OEE, SPC, yield, cost, throughput. Traditional MI is a BI tool over a warehouse. V5's MI sits on the same operating database as the eBR, MES and QMS, so the signals are real-time by construction, not eventually-consistent.
How is this different from Power BI or Tableau on top of my MES?
A dashboard on top of your MES inherits your MES's data model — usually multiple sources reconciled nightly. V5's MI queries the operating record directly: OEE at a machine, SPC on a CPP and cost variance on a work order are the same objects the eBR and CAPA already know about. No ETL, no lag, no reconciliation.
Does V5 replace our historian?
No. V5 ingests OPC-UA / MQTT from the historian (and directly from equipment where a historian is not in place). The historian stays if you already have one; V5 becomes the intelligence and workflow surface on top.
How is the AI different from a standalone analytics tool?
V5 AI runs inside your tenant, sees only what the calling user is entitled to see, and grounds every finding in the specific records that support it. Anomaly detection on cost, yield and drift is tied to the batch, work order and workcenter — so the finding is actionable, not just a chart.
How long to go live?
OEE and SPC surfaces are typically live within 30 days once V5 is running the eBR. Full MI posture with AI anomaly detection is 60-90 days.
