Sanitation Verification (ATP)
atp swab · atp bioluminescence
TL;DR
Rapid post-clean verification using ATP bioluminescence to confirm food/pharma equipment surfaces are clean before the next run.
ATP bioluminescence swabs measure adenosine triphosphate left on a cleaned surface as a fast (seconds) proxy for organic soil. Results in Relative Light Units (RLU) are compared to validated pass/fail thresholds. ATP does not replace microbial testing but is the standard for real-time line-clearance verification under FSMA and GFSI schemes.
V5 records ATP results against the equipment, sanitation SOP, and operator, blocking the next work order until pass criteria are met.
