How it runs
Once orders exist, V5 helps you decide when to make them and what to buy. Calendars, capacity, sequencing and shifts sit on the schedule board; MRP, master production scheduling and planning scenarios turn demand into material requirements; purchase orders connect suppliers to receiving.
Step 1 of 5
Review demand
Review manufacturing demand and production requirements from the planning screens.
What changes
Plans Built on Current Data
Scheduling and MRP work from the demand, capacity and stock already recorded in V5.
Human-Reviewed Recommendations
Planning recommendations are proposals for a planner to check, not automatic commitments.

Questions
- Does V5 forecast demand with AI?
- AI demand and yield forecasting is listed as coming soon. Today, MRP and scheduling plan from recorded demand, stock and capacity, and a planner reviews the result.
- Do purchase orders have to live in V5?
- V5 can create and manage supplier purchase orders and receiving. If your ERP already owns purchasing, the integration decides which system is the record; this is agreed during setup.
- Where are supplier SDS and certificates kept?
- Supplier documents are controlled records connected to supplier qualification. Your own finished-product safety data sheets are authored in V5's SDS workflow.
