FIFO

First In, First Out

Pick the oldest received lot first — used when shelf life isn't the binding constraint.

First In, First Out (FIFO) is the picking rule that consumes the oldest receipt first. For products with meaningful expiry, FEFO is preferred (oldest expiry first), since 'received first' and 'expires first' aren't always the same.
